Stimulates new growth
Growth factors delivered straight to the follicle bed to stimulate new hair and encourage thicker, denser coverage across the treated area.
Platelet-rich plasma injected into the scalp to stimulate follicles that have gone dormant. It is your own blood — drawn here, concentrated here, put back the same visit. About an hour, no surgery, no scars, and no synthetic drug involved. For men and women, from early thinning to more advanced loss.
Takes about 30 seconds. We call you back within one business day.
The appointment, start to finish
PRP for hair loss uses platelets from your own blood — concentrated, rich in growth factors — to stimulate hair follicles and promote natural regrowth. Nothing is added and nothing comes from a donor. The whole sequence happens in a single visit, and patients drive in from Delray Beach, Boynton Beach and Deerfield Beach for it. If you want the biology first, start at our PRP and regenerative medicine hub.
We look at the scalp itself — the pattern, the density, how long it has been changing — and go through your history. Then we tell you whether PRP is a reasonable tool for what you have.
A small sample, taken here, no different from a routine lab test. You stay in the chair while it is processed.
The sample is spun to separate the platelets from the rest of the blood. This is the step that turns blood into platelet-rich plasma, and it is why the injection carries far more growth factor than blood would on its own.
The plasma is injected with fine needles across the thinning area, placing the maximum concentration of growth factors at the dormant follicle bed. Minimally invasive, well tolerated, about an hour all in — then back to your day.
What PRP is asked to do
A thinning scalp is usually not an empty one. Follicles shrink and go quiet before they disappear, and PRP is aimed at that stage — enhancing dormant follicles while supporting the scalp around them, so growth comes back thicker rather than finer.
Growth factors delivered straight to the follicle bed to stimulate new hair and encourage thicker, denser coverage across the treated area.
PRP increases circulation in the scalp and supports the health of the follicle itself. Hair grows out of tissue, so improving the scalp is part of the treatment.
Minimally invasive. No transplant, no incision, no scarring, and no synthetic drugs or chemicals. Safe for both men and women.
Whether you are in the early stages of thinning or dealing with more advanced loss, The number of sessions and the areas we treat depend on what your scalp shows.
Being straight with you
PRP asks your own body to do the repair. That makes it a good option for some patterns of hair loss and the wrong one for others, and we would rather say so at the consultation than take payment for a series that was never going to work.
What to expect
Treatments take about one hour. Some patients see initial change in as little as a few weeks, with continued improvement across follow-up appointments. Hair cycles slowly, so change is measured in months rather than weeks.
The draw feels like a lab test. The injections are done with fine needles and topical numbing where appropriate. Expect the scalp to be tender or tight for a day, then nothing. No recovery period, no time off.
PRP is prepared and placed here under strict medical practice standards, using FDA-compliant equipment and sterile technique — by your provider, physician-supervised, with Dr. Stratt consulting on the case.
In our clinical experience, patients treated for thinning hair report improvement in overall thickness, density and scalp health over a course of treatment. We will not put a number on that before we have seen your scalp.
The part most hair clinics skip
Hair is one of the first things to change when something systemic is off. If your shedding arrived alongside fatigue, weight change, poor sleep or low libido, injecting the scalp treats the visible half and leaves the cause running. This is a physician-led practice, so we can test for that here instead of sending you elsewhere.
Sudden or diffuse shedding, thinning in a woman with other menopausal symptoms, or hair change alongside a cluster of systemic complaints. We run a targeted panel first, then someone from the team goes over the numbers with you — by phone or at the office, whichever you prefer — not as a PDF in your inbox, with Dr. Stratt consulting on what gets prescribed.
Hormone therapy in Boca Raton →Gradual thinning at the crown, part line or temples in an otherwise healthy patient is usually exactly what PRP is for. We tell you, price the treatments, and get started. Either way, you get the plan and the price in writing first.

You will know which provider you are seeing before you arrive. It is a small team at one office, physician-supervised, and LifeBoost is self-pay — so there is no insurance company deciding how many minutes you get.

Before you call
Some patients see initial change in as little as a few weeks, and improvement continues over subsequent follow-up appointments. Hair grows in cycles, so this is measured in months rather than days, and it is a series rather than a single visit. We take photographs at the start so you are comparing against something real instead of a memory.
The process is minimally invasive and most people tolerate it well. The plasma is injected with fine needles, and we use topical numbing where appropriate. Expect the scalp to feel tender or tight for a day or so. We will ask you to leave the area alone that evening — no harsh products, no heat styling — and after that you are back to normal.
PRP works on follicles that have gone dormant, not on scalp where the follicle is gone. It suits men and women with thinning hair or mild to early loss, and it asks your own body to do the work — so it needs something to work with. If your scalp is smooth and has been that way for years, we will tell you PRP is unlikely to change that rather than sell you a series.
Sometimes, yes. Hair thinning can accompany thyroid, hormonal or nutritional problems, and treating the scalp does nothing about the cause. If your history points that way we will say so and test for it — that is a normal part of what this practice does — and we will tell you plainly if we do not think testing is needed.
LifeBoost is a self-pay practice and PRP is not billed to insurance. We tell you how many sessions we are recommending and what they cost, in writing, before you commit to the first one.

"Dr. Stratt was incredibly honest and explained what to expect, no hype — just real info. I'm a few treatments in and already noticing baby hairs where there were none."
