Lines that appear when you move
Forehead lines when you raise your brows, the vertical "11s" when you concentrate, crow's feet when you smile. These are creases made by muscle, and they are what a neuromodulator is for.
Every Botox treatment here is customized rather than dosed off a chart — a light, targeted dose so you still look like yourself, not expressionless. Injected by Gabrielle Janney, PA-C at one physician-led office on Beracasa Way.

The appointment, start to finish
The injections themselves are quick. What separates a good result from an obvious one is the assessment that comes first — which muscles are actually pulling, how hard, and what happens to your brows if we quiet them. If you're not sure whether Botox or filler is what you need, ask us at the consultation — or read more on our aesthetics and injectables hub.
Gabi watches your face still and moving — raise your brows, frown, squint, smile. Two people with the same lines can need very different doses. We also go through your medical history and any medications.
Which areas, roughly how many units, and what it costs — in writing, before anything is opened. No prepaid packages bought before anyone looked at your face.
A series of small injections with a fine needle, usually under ten minutes. Ice or numbing cream if you'd like it. Tiny raised bumps at the sites settle within about twenty minutes, and most patients drive straight back to work.
The full effect is in at about two weeks. We reassess then — that's when a small adjustment is useful, and when we decide what to do differently next time.
What Botox actually does
Botox Cosmetic is a purified neuromodulator — a prescription medicine, FDA-approved for frown lines, crow's feet and forehead lines in adults. Injected into a specific muscle, it temporarily reduces that muscle's pull. The skin above it stops being folded, so the line softens. It is not a filler, it is not a peel, and it does nothing to the surface of your skin.
Forehead lines when you raise your brows, the vertical "11s" when you concentrate, crow's feet when you smile. These are creases made by muscle, and they are what a neuromodulator is for.
A line folded thousands of times eventually stays folded. Treating the movement earlier is why many patients in their thirties start here rather than waiting for something to correct.
The effect wears off over a few months. Nothing is permanent, nothing is implanted, and if you want a different look next time, the next appointment is the adjustment.
The part that goes wrong elsewhere
Almost every bad Botox result comes from the same place: a fixed number of units applied to everyone, injected in a hurry, by someone who won't be there when it settles. Your muscles are not the average muscle.
Afterwards, and whether it suits you
This page is for general information and is not medical advice. Whether any treatment is appropriate for you is determined after evaluation and, where indicated, laboratory testing.
Who is holding the syringe
Cosmetic injections here are done by our own clinical team in one Boca Raton office — not by a contractor rotating between locations. The practice has been in Boca Raton since 2014, and patients come in from Delray Beach, Boynton Beach and Deerfield Beach.
Before you book
Less than most people expect. The needle is very fine and each injection takes a second or two. Ice or numbing cream is available if you want it. Small raised bumps at the injection sites settle within about twenty minutes, and a little bruising is possible — more likely if you take fish oil, ibuprofen or another blood thinner in the days before.
Most people notice softening within three to five days, and the result is fully settled at about two weeks. From there it typically holds for around three to four months before movement gradually returns. How long it lasts varies with the dose, the muscle treated and the individual — strong muscles and frequent expression tend to shorten it.
Not if the dose is chosen for your face. Frozen is what happens when a fixed number of units is used on everyone regardless of muscle strength. We treat conservatively at the first appointment, look at the result together at about two weeks, and adjust from there. It is far easier to add a little than to wait out too much.
Most often the forehead lines, the vertical frown lines between the brows and the crow's feet at the outer corners of the eyes. If what bothers you is a line that is visible when your face is completely still, Botox is probably not the right tool and we will tell you that rather than treat it anyway.
LifeBoost is a self-pay practice and cosmetic Botox is not a covered insurance benefit. Dose is measured in units and the number you need depends on your muscles and the areas being treated, so we quote you in writing at your consultation — before anything is opened or injected.
Related care
Botox handles movement. Volume, contour and skin quality are different problems with different tools — and plenty of patients use two of them in different areas of the same face.
