Dermal Fillers in Boca Raton

Non-surgical volume, placed to lift and harmonise your features rather than change them. Hyaluronic acid fillers like Juvederm add volume and soften lines the day they go in. Sculptra takes a slower road and builds your own collagen. Both are injected in-office by Gabrielle Janney, PA-C, at a physician-led practice — conservatively, and in one office.

Quick facts

What a filler actually does.

Faces don't only wrinkle as they age — they deflate. Fat pads thin, bone recedes slightly, and skin that once had something underneath it starts to fold. Filler replaces what is missing. It is a minimally invasive way to add volume, smooth wrinkles and improve facial contours without surgery and without real downtime.

Volume, not movement

It treats what is there when your face is still

Hollow cheeks, a softened jawline, folds that no longer disappear when you stop smiling. Lines that only show when you move are a muscle problem, and those are treated with Botox instead.

Two mechanisms

Instant volume, or collagen built over time

Hyaluronic acid is a gel made from a substance your skin already produces, and it works immediately. Sculptra adds nothing on the day — it prompts your body to make its own collagen, so the change arrives slowly.

Temporary by design

Your body metabolises it

Hyaluronic acid filler typically lasts six to twelve months; Sculptra results can last up to two years. You'll need maintenance to keep it, and we would rather you knew that before the first syringe than after.

Choosing the right approach

Hyaluronic acid filler or Sculptra?

Not all fillers are the same, and the right choice depends on your goals. Here's how the two differ.

Hyaluronic acid · Juvederm

Immediate volume and definition

A soft, gel-like product made from a substance your skin naturally produces, injected to add instant volume and soften fine lines.

  • Results: immediate volume, enhanced contours, smoother lines
  • Best for: targeted enhancement — cheeks, lips, jawline, nasolabial folds, marionette lines
  • Duration: typically six to twelve months
  • Adjustability: predictable, adjustable and reversible
  • Goal: quick lift, contour and definition

Collagen stimulator · Sculptra

Structure rebuilt gradually

Rather than filling a space, Sculptra stimulates your body's own collagen production, so structure and skin thickness improve over months.

  • Results: gradual restoration of structure, improved skin thickness, smoother deep lines
  • Best for: broader facial volume restoration — temples, cheeks, jawline
  • Duration: develops over months, can last up to two years
  • Adjustability: Changes come on slowly and can't be adjusted on the spot
  • Goal: long-term collagen support and natural rejuvenation

Both are performed in-office with minimal discomfort and minimal time out, so you can get back to your day and still look like yourself doing it.

How a filler appointment runs here

Four steps, and a deliberately restrained first visit.

Nearly all the regret in this category comes from doing too much in one sitting. We do the opposite — treat conservatively, then look at the result together before anything else goes in. Patients come to the Beracasa Way office from Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach and Deerfield Beach for the same appointment.

01

Consultation

Gabi looks at your face at rest and in movement and asks what actually bothers you. Sometimes the answer is filler, sometimes it is Botox, and sometimes it is neither — she will say so.

02

A plan and a price

Which product, which areas, how much. Treatment plans are customised to your face rather than sold off a menu, and you get the price in writing before anything is opened.

03

Treatment, usually the same visit

Quick and comfortable — 30 minutes or less in most cases, with numbing cream or ice where it helps. Physician-supervised, in one office, by the person who assessed you.

04

Aftercare and maintenance

With proper aftercare most patients return to normal activities the same day. We reassess before adding, then keep the result with periodic maintenance sessions rather than rebuilding it from scratch each time.

Treatment areas

Where filler is usually placed.

Start from what you notice in the mirror rather than from a product name. The area often decides the product.

Cheeks and midface

Around the mouth

  • Nasolabial folds — nose to the corner of the mouth
  • Marionette lines below the corners
  • Thin or deflated lips
  • Lip filler in Boca Raton

Jawline and lower face

Both sides of it

Who filler suits — and what we tell you first.

Fillers are elective. That makes it more important, not less, that you hear the limits before you decide.

Dermal fillers are appropriate for
  • You want to soften wrinkles or replace volume you've lost
  • People who want non-surgical facial rejuvenation with little downtime
  • Patients willing to accept that results are temporary and maintenance is required
  • Healthy patients with no history of allergy to the components of Juvederm or Sculptra
  • Anyone who would rather look rested than look treated
What we tell you before you agree
  • Filler does not treat lines that appear only when you move — that is a job for Botox
  • It does not change skin quality or texture; that is a different conversation
  • Mild swelling, tenderness or bruising at the injection sites is common for a few days
  • Sculptra is not instantly adjustable, so the first session is deliberately conservative
  • Pregnancy, an active skin infection at the site, and some conditions and medications change the picture
  • Results vary from person to person, and how long yours lasts varies with your metabolism

Products and safety

What goes in your face, and where it came from.

We use FDA-approved dermal filler products, sourced only through pharmacies that meet standard requirements for safety and sterility. (delete this sentence — the sentence before it already covers approval and sourcing) Every filler procedure here is physician-supervised, and Bruce J. Stratt, MD has been the medical director of this office since 2014 — Gabi does the injecting.

Who is holding the syringe

Filler placed in a medical practice, not a spa.

You will know who you are seeing before you arrive. Your treatment history is kept on file at one office, so what was placed, where, and how it settled informs every follow-up — which is most of why filler results stay natural over years.

If filler isn't the answer

Not sure filler is what you need? Tell us what bothers you and we'll tell you which treatment fits — or whether none does.

Before you book

What patients ask about fillers.

Juvederm or Sculptra — which one is right for me?

It depends on what you want changed and how quickly. Hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm add volume the day they are placed, so they suit targeted work on the cheeks, lips, jawline, nasolabial folds and marionette lines. Sculptra works differently: it stimulates your own collagen, so structure builds gradually over months, which tends to suit broader restoration across the temples, cheeks and jawline. Gabi will tell you which one your face actually calls for, and for some patients the answer is one product now and the other later.

Does filler hurt, and how long does the appointment take?

The treatment is quick and comfortable, and usually takes 30 minutes or less. Depending on your treatment plan, numbing cream or ice is used to keep you comfortable. Most patients describe pressure rather than pain.

How much downtime is there?

Very little. With proper aftercare most patients return to their normal activities the same day. Mild swelling, tenderness or bruising at the injection sites is common in the first few days and settles on its own. You leave with written aftercare instructions and a number to call if anything looks different from what we described.

What if I don't like the result?

Hyaluronic acid filler is predictable, adjustable and reversible. If a result is not what we planned, it can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase, which works quickly. Sculptra is the honest exception: it works gradually through your own collagen and is not instantly adjustable, which is exactly why we start conservatively and reassess before adding more.

What does filler cost, and do you take insurance?

LifeBoost is self-pay, and cosmetic injectables are not a covered benefit under any insurance. What filler costs depends on which product is indicated and how much of it your plan calls for, so we put the number in writing at your consultation instead of advertising a figure that changes once you are in the chair. You decide before anything is opened.
