Bioidentical Hormone Replacement for Men in Boca Raton

Fatigue that sleep doesn't fix. Strength that won't come back in the gym. A shorter fuse, less drive. In men past forty these often trace back to testosterone — and the only way to know is bloodwork. We test first, go through the numbers with you by phone or in the office, and treat only where the labs support it.

The condition

Andropause is real. It's just slow enough to blame on something else.

Men don't get one obvious event the way women get menopause. Testosterone drifts down over years, and every symptom it produces has an easier explanation waiting — work, stress, age, kids, sleep. That's why most men who need treatment never get tested for it.

What men notice

The symptoms that bring men in

Rarely one dramatic thing. Usually several small ones that arrived together and never left.

  • Fatigue and low energy that rest doesn't resolve
  • Low libido and changes in sexual function
  • Muscle loss and reduced strength despite training
  • Weight gain, often around the midsection
  • Irritability, low mood, a shorter temper
  • Brain fog and poor concentration

Who this is actually for

Worth investigating if you're in one of these groups. Worth ruling out if you're not.

  • Men going through andropause or age-related hormonal decline
  • Men with hormone changes following surgery
  • Men with laboratory-confirmed low testosterone
  • Men wanting to restore muscle tone, libido and vitality
  • Not men whose bloodwork comes back normal — we'll say so

Plain definitions

What "bioidentical" means, and what it doesn't.

Bioidentical describes molecular structure, nothing more. The hormone is structurally identical to the one your body already produces, so your body recognises and metabolises it the same way. That's a real advantage, and it's all the word means.

What it does not mean
  • Not a synonym for "natural", "herbal" or "supplement"
  • Not free of side effects or monitoring
  • Not something to start without laboratory testing
  • Not a weight-loss drug, though weight often follows
What it does mean here
  • Body-identical testosterone, matched to your own molecule
  • FDA-approved testosterone preparations, not grey-market vials
  • A dose set by your labs, your symptoms and your history
  • Physician-supervised — Dr. Stratt consults on your protocol

From first call to first dose

Four steps. Nothing prescribed before the bloodwork comes back.

Men's hormone clinics have a reputation for handing out testosterone on a questionnaire. This isn't that. It all runs out of one office on Beracasa Way.

01

Consultation

Symptoms, history, medications, what you're actually trying to fix. We tell you which labs you need — and which ones you don't.

02

Bloodwork

A targeted men's panel, drawn here in the office, usually in the morning, when testosterone reads highest. A borderline number often gets repeated before we act on it.

03

Your results, explained

Someone from the team walks you through the numbers — in the office or over the phone — rather than leaving a PDF in your inbox. Dr. Stratt consults on your case and on what gets prescribed. Your price is quoted in writing before you decide.

04

Treatment & re-testing

Injection, cream or pellet — chosen with you. Then repeat labs on a set schedule, with the dose adjusted on the numbers rather than on a refill button.

Before you start

What to know before you start.

Treating a real deficiency is worth doing. It's just work that belongs with a physician who follows your labs.

Delivery

Three ways to take it

How you take testosterone changes how steady your levels stay.

  • Injection — the most adjustable, easiest to fine-tune between labs
  • Cream or gel — daily, absorbed through the skin, with care needed around close contact with partners and children
  • Pellets — placed under the skin in-office, releasing steadily for months

Trade-offs

What we say out loud

Testosterone is a prescription medication with real effects on the rest of your physiology.

  • It suppresses your own production while you're on it and can lower sperm count — tell us if you may want children
  • It can raise red blood cell count in some men, which is why we re-test rather than refill indefinitely
  • Starting is a decision about the next several years, not the next month
  • Some men feel a change within weeks; others take longer

If your question is really about testosterone, these cover it in more detail.

Before you call

What men ask us first.

How do I know if my testosterone is actually low?

Bloodwork, not a symptom quiz. Fatigue, low drive and brain fog also belong to thyroid disease, poor sleep, anemia and depression. We draw a targeted panel, usually in the morning when testosterone reads highest, and often confirm a low result on a second draw.

What happens if my labs come back normal?

We tell you they're normal and we don't put you on hormones. If your numbers are fine, the cause is somewhere else — and we'd rather point you toward it than sell you a prescription that won't fix it.

Will testosterone therapy affect fertility?

It can. Testosterone taken from outside the body suppresses the signal that drives your own production, and that can lower sperm count while you're on it. If you may want children, say so at the consultation — it changes what we would recommend.

Do you take insurance, and what will it cost?

LifeBoost is a self-pay practice. You get your price in writing once we have gone through your results and know which protocol is indicated and before you commit to anything. We don't publish a number that would depend on a protocol we haven't chosen yet.

This page is for general information and is not medical advice. Whether any treatment is appropriate for you is determined after evaluation and, where indicated, laboratory testing.
