Water, not just bulk
Because HA holds moisture, part of what you get back is hydration — the quality dry, flat-looking lips have lost. It reads as health before it reads as size.
Hyaluronic acid filler for total lip restoration — deep hydration, natural volume, and fewer of the fine lines around the mouth. Placed by Gabrielle Janney, PA-C a little at a time, so what you see in the mirror is still your mouth. Most treatments last six to twelve months.

The appointment, start to finish
A lip appointment here runs 30–45 minutes including the consultation itself. The approach is gentle and gradual: build a little, look at it, add later if it's wanted. Patients come from around Boca Raton and from Delray Beach and Boynton Beach for this, and it is one of three injectables we offer — the full picture is on the aesthetics and injectables hub.
Gabi looks at your lips at rest and while you talk and smile, in proportion to the rest of your face. Volume, shape, the border, hydration and the lines above the lip are separate problems with separate answers.
Which hyaluronic acid product, how much of it, and what it costs — in writing, while the box is still sealed. No packages bought before anyone looked at your face.
Numbing cream or ice where it helps, then filler placed in small amounts and built up rather than delivered all at once. This is the step where restraint does the work — an overfilled lip is almost always a one-appointment decision.
Minor swelling or bruising can follow and resolves quickly. Once it has, we look at the real result together and adjust if needed. Most patients then return one to two times a year to maintain it.
Made to work with your body
Our lip fillers are made with hyaluronic acid — the same substance your skin already produces to stay hydrated and plump. HA attracts moisture to the area where it's placed, which is why treated lips feel soft and fresh rather than stiff or padded.
Because HA holds moisture, part of what you get back is hydration — the quality dry, flat-looking lips have lost. It reads as health before it reads as size.
Soft volume where the lip has deflated, definition through the border and the Cupid's bow, and balance between the upper and lower lip. Symmetry is usually what makes a result look natural.
Fine lines around the mouth soften as the tissue is supported again. This is often the change patients notice in photographs before they notice the lips themselves.
Choosing the right filler
Every brand sells a family of fillers with different thicknesses and textures, depending on how the hyaluronic acid is cross-linked. That's why we keep several products on hand rather than one for everybody — the result comes from pairing the right filler with the right technique for your goals.
Recovery, aftercare and honesty about risk
Expect some minor swelling, and possibly a little bruising, which resolves quickly — for most patients mild swelling is the only effect at all. You'll be given specific instructions on what to expect and how to care for the area before you leave, not a leaflet at the front desk. Lips swell more than other areas, so judge the result after it has settled rather than that evening.
The products are FDA-approved hyaluronic acid fillers from established manufacturers, obtained through licensed pharmacies, and placed under standard sterility technique by a nationally certified physician assistant in a physician-led medical office. Injectables are elective and not right for everyone: pregnancy, breastfeeding, an active infection or cold sore at the site, certain medical conditions and some medications all change the answer. If lip filler isn't a good idea for you, we'd rather say so than book you.
(delete this paragraph — the FAQ 'Can lip filler be dissolved or reversed?' already covers it) An enzyme called hyaluronidase dissolves it almost immediately, which is a genuine safety net and a large part of why HA is the material we use in lips.

Who holds the syringe
Lips are unforgiving, and technique is most of the outcome. Injections here are done by our clinical team, by the same small team, at one Boca Raton address since 2014 — not by an injector who rotates between offices.

Most patients keep the added volume and definition for six to twelve months. The precise duration varies with the injection site, which hyaluronic acid product was used and how quickly your body metabolises it. Most people come back once or twice a year to maintain the result rather than rebuild it.
Subtle enhancement is the whole philosophy here, and the overfilled look is deliberately avoided. Gabi assesses your individual facial proportions and places small amounts of product to work with the natural anatomy of your lips rather than override it. Enhancement, not alteration — and that is far easier to land across two conservative appointments than one ambitious one.
Hyaluronic acid fillers have a long, well-documented track record when they are placed by a trained and experienced injector. We use FDA-approved products from established manufacturers, source them through licensed pharmacies, and hold to standard sterility technique. For most patients the only effect afterwards is mild swelling, which resolves quickly. Less common complications do exist, which is why your history, your medications and anything that would make treatment a bad idea get covered at the consultation.
Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase, which breaks the product down almost immediately. It is rarely needed, but the fact that the treatment is temporary and reversible is why many patients are comfortable trying it at all.
LifeBoost is a self-pay practice, and cosmetic injectables are not an insurance benefit anywhere. You get your price in writing at the consultation, before any product is opened — which product, how much of it, and what that comes to. Nobody here decides how much filler to use while you are working out whether you can afford it.
